Took an old project (built without permit - now red tagged) done in Archicad 6.0, opened it in 9, linked up library parts, saved it as a pla; opened it in 12, linked up library parts, saved it as a pla, merged it in Master Template (after making all library parts mine...line weights, arrowpoints, etc) and voila, this project has allowed me to understand the Master Template, its layers, layer sets (changed so I can find them easily...numbered them), sheets and the organization of the file. It makes project organization simple. I can create everything in ArchiCAD,including brochures and proposals. So, not only learned how to open 6.0 in 13, (the long way), but am mastering this exceptional Template. Well worth it's cost.
Once the model is done, views can be linked up, the layout is all but finished. Fill in the info box with project information and it is time to print a check set!
