I have zones setup on a code and egress sheet that show occupancy and sf etc. I want to use the same zone on a room finish plan that shows floor finishes, etc. Is there any way to have the same zone show different content between sheets? Or do you have to make copies of each zone and change their layers, etc.? Then if updating them, you have to update all of the zones even if they are right on top of each other?
Can you change the Zone stamp for different sheets and views?
Zone stamps are GDL objects that can have different levels of sophistication. Graphisoft provides one called Zone Stamp 02 22 that can display different content at different scales, so that for Site Plans (for example) it can show less than at a normal floor plan scale.
To do what you want, you may find Total Zone useful. It is a commercial library part costing 40 Euro, which you can purchase at:
It can switch the content based on the active Model View Option, so you can set up different MVO for different sheets (based on the settings of Views that get placed as Drawings on those sheets).
If you don't want to spend the 40 Euro, then you would need to copy the zones to have different content, and place each copy on a different layer. It could get tricky to manage.
