These are driving me crazy…going back n forth in Project and View Map for these folders. Here are my process….

I made clone folders for these : Worksheets and Details for enlarge plans and details at larger scales than the floor plans. I used the Details tool so there are the detail bubbles on the floor plans and sections I copied and paste these details onto cloned worksheets. These cloned worksheets are where I add more information such as dimensions, annotations, details. I place these Worksheets onto the Layouts.

So, I worked on the cloned worksheets for my layouts…..is this how it is done ?

I don't understand why you made clone folders for the Worksheets and Details – they already exist in the MasterTemplate View Map.

In terms of workflow, you can get similar bubbles for Worksheets as you can for Details – so I don't understand why you are using the Detail tool – it sounds like you're using it just to get the bubble callout. Since you want to create Worksheets, why not use the Worksheet tool, and have the bubble callout link to the Worksheet and to the eventual Drawing on the Layout.

The correct part of all of this is that you are adding more annotation at the larger scale, then placing the Worksheets onto the Layouts. That's exactly right.

Thanks Eric….

Where and what are the Worksheet Tools ? …..These may be it…and looking forward to better way to use my time…

Yes, I am using the AMT clone folders….btu they have been deleted many times as I 'accidentally' deleted a view as I was working cos I forget which map I am in.

And yes, I was using the callout to show on the plan for reference.

The Worksheet tool is right above the Detail Tool in the standard Toolbox. Its icon looks like a piece of paper with a turned-over corner with a pencil drawing a line.
