Hi Kenneth -
It’s interesting, no one has asked us about this before. I’m always interested in improving the template, so if you send me a sample of such a title block meeting the AIA ConDoc standard format (either as a DWG or a PDF or even a JPG screenshot) then I’ll be happy to create a new variation of the master layout that has this in it. Since this will enhance the usability of MasterTemplate for all users, I’d love to do it – just send me an email at template@bobrow.com and I’ll get this taken care of.
Eric
I’ve accidentally deleted the default company logo and having trouble inserting a logo from a a source file into my master layout! Please help.
Lilian -
If you’ve deleted the logo from your master, you can simply copy it from one of the other masters in the file, or from the original version of MasterTemplate. If you’ve deleted the company logo file itself from the MasterTemplate Linked Files folder, then you may want to download MasterTemplate again and recover a copy of the file from the zipped download archive. Please let me know if you need any further assistance on this.
Eric
Clear and to the point, excellent, how can we move around the title blocks from one side to another position on the drawing? just by moving them?
Fardin -
To move the title block information to a new position, simply open the Layout Book in the Navigator, then scroll down to the Masters and open them up. Pick the Master that you are using for your projects, and double-click to open it for editing.
You may move around and edit the elements, add new ones, and delete ones you don’t need. When you return to view a Layout that uses that Master, you will see that it has updated.
If you are using more than one Master, for example to have one for Details with a grid, and one without, then you will need to repeat the editing on the other Master(s) to make them consistent. You can copy the contents of the edited Master, and paste it into or onto the other Master(s) to speed this up.
Eric
My understanding of the AIA ConDoc format is that a title block column is organized in a wider vertical manner as opposed to the AMT title block that is rotated in a horizontal orientation. Is there an available template for the ConDoc orientation in the template or must it be developed separately by the purchaser? Thanks.
Ken
