This 67 minute ArchiCAD training video (recorded during a live webinar on November 16, 2011) provides an overview of MasterTemplate. We start with a little tour of this website, including the download pages, Support Forum, Documentation, and video tutorials. Next we look briefly at the standard Graphisoft-supplied template, comparing it to MasterTemplate.
MasterTemplate is shown both in a a new blank file as well as using our standard sample file that has a small building that provides a context for the robust project structure. In addition, some time is spent showing the downloaded files, discussing their basic relationship and usage.

You will find the user guide (manual) for MasterTemplate by using the navigation menu above and selecting SUPPORT > DOCUMENTATION. The manual was last revised for MasterTemplate 13, and the changes in the last two releases are explained in the Release Notes for AMT14 and AMT15, which you will also find on that page.
To download the video, simply right-click on the DOWNLOAD button and select Save Link As or Save Target As or a similar command (this varies by browser) – you will then be saving the actual MP4 video file to your computer. This video file may be played in Apple’s QuickTime Player (available for free from Apple) or many other video players.
